Well it has been quite a while since Josh and I have written a blog.... we just seem to not be able to find the time now a days ... A lot has happened since our last blog.... here are a few highlights from the past couple of months: I finally started my job in January and I love it. I work at Regis hair salon in the mall. Not a place I want to be at for forever , but I have already learned so much and am slowly building up my clientele. Plus everyone I work with is really nice. I am the youngest of them all by 20 or 30 years but they all act really young and hip so its cool. I also decided to get rid of all my long hair and try something a little more stylish so I had my hair cut into a cute inverted bob. Josh is doing really well at his job and has completed and had approved several projects. One off the top of my head was a hospice. His boss could not believe how fast he got things approved so thats good! He is also working on many other projects.
Jon and Shannon Nelson came to visit us for a week in March. We had a lot of fun with them and did a lot of adventurous things.... Then the first weekend in April we went to Oahu.... our first experience on another island! We had so much fun. Where we live there are not many restaraunts so the weekend consisted of a lot of food and a lot of shopping and a lot of time on the beaches. We got to go to the North Shore and watch a surf competition on Sunset Beach. Josh got to fulfill one of his
child hood dreams of being able to go to Waimea Bay, a big body boarding place. He could not body board because the waves were really dangerous the day we were there, but it was cool for him to be there. We also attempted surfing in Waikiki.... I did not last very long my board was big and heavy and I was having a hard time standing up. Josh however did well and caught a couple of waves. It was really crowded there but the island is fun and there was lots to do. Also they didn't have any economy cars in so we got a free upgrade on our rental car to a 2008 Sebbring Convertible. God is so good!!!!!

Please pray that more people will be willing to use their gifts and talents in worship as well and as always your continued prayers and support are always needed! Thanks for reading!
