So Josh and I finally are settled in Wilmington,NC. Josh has been working for the army corps of engineers and has been really enjoying it. I am still in search of a job here in Wilmington, although I have been working at my job in Raleigh, twice a month. This week is my last week doing that and will officially be unemployed. I have resume's out at almost every salon/ spa in town and I believe its just a matter of time before I receive an offer. I believe the Lord has been trying to teach us patience , which for me is never easy. I am not a naturally patient person, so this has been a total learning experience for me.
We were however, able to purchase our first home! We live 45 min from the South Carolina border and are about a 15 minute drive to one of the best beaches in North Carolina. Our home is a quaint 3 bed / 2 bath and I have enjoyed having some time off so that I could decorate and make the house a home. We are thrilled to be in this area, though there are a lot of challenges with moving to a new area. We went to a church this week that we believe we will be our church home and hope to be able to be used in their ministry. Now that we are back into more of a routine Josh has started writing more songs and we are looking forward to being able to use our gifts together once again.
